Village Bikes is pleased to sponsor the 2nd Annual Village Idiots Cycling Club’s Women on Wheels ride. The group ride is for Women only, and is free to participants. The ride is a fully supported 60 mile route through Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and up through Manatee County. It takes place on May 17th, and leaves from right in front of our Lakewood Ranch location on Main Street at 8:00am. The Women on Wheels 100 is not a competition to see who is the fastest, it is about gathering a community of women to take part in this shared adventure. From seasoned racers to brand new roadies, all types of riders will join together with a common goal of riding 100km this May.
To participate, please join the event page on facebook.
